The pain

Showing someone what is on your screen often takes a recording, a screenshot and a few arrows, spread across several tools. Some of them want an account, and some keep your files on their own servers.

What it will do

• Records one tab, one window or the whole screen, with system sound and microphone each on or off.
• Puts your webcam picture in a corner, counts down before it starts, lets you pause, and saves an ordinary video file.
• Takes a screenshot of the visible part, a chosen area, or the full page down to the bottom.
• Lets you crop, add arrows, boxes, text and step numbers, and blur sensitive parts, then copy the result or save it as an image or PDF.

Status

Coming soon. OmegaLens is built and is being prepared for the Chrome Web Store, so there is no install link here yet. It is free for everyone, with no account, published by my company, Omega DO IT Solutions.
